New Camera

Jon and I are not known as being very digital savvy. We decided to practice posting pictures on the blog with two of our favorite people, Matthew and Carly.

Not leaving just yet.............

We got final word today from Ida (our adoption agency) that we will be leaving next Saturday May 5th. We just got the final signature on our invitation to travel (needed to issue adoption visa) this morning, and it won't allow enough time for the visa's to go through and be shipped to us before Sunday. So we are around for another week : ) Hopefully no changes this time.....

We arrive in Almaty late night on the 6th and will go to the Ministry of Education to get approval to visit the baby house first thing Monday morning. We will meet our girl for the first time on May 7th. We can't wait : )

First blog post : )

Jon and I are very excited to finally have a blog set up. We plan to post pictures and updates of our journey in Kazakhstan. We can't wait to meet our baby girl!

We should have a travel date by next Wednesday. We are tentatively leaving on April 29th (arriving in Almaty early morning May 1st).
