Jon and I are very excited to finally have a blog set up. We plan to post pictures and updates of our journey in Kazakhstan. We can't wait to meet our baby girl!
We should have a travel date by next Wednesday. We are tentatively leaving on April 29th (arriving in Almaty early morning May 1st).

Can you finally believe all the dedication, hard work and committment you have given to this process is finally going to pay off. It almost does not seem real. Sienna and Grant cant wait to meet Lucy and Sienna is pysched to have a friend who is a peanut like her. Travel safe and smart and try and enjoy the whole process. May the "Journey to Lucy" be one of many the 3 of you will share.
We are so excited to meet Lucy.... Carly can't wait to wear matching outfits with her cousin! :) Lucy is so lucky to have such committed and loving parents. Seriously, look at her new clean room, that certainly shows love and committment! We love you all!

I am so very excited about having Lucy part of our family-almost like another grandchild for me. She will be a very fortunate baby to have parents like you two who went to the other side of the world to find her.
